Online Personal Training

Who is this for?

If you are someone with who finds it hard to attain results, have tried multiple methods in the process but to no avail and need more than just a training program and nutrition guidelines to follow, our online personal training service could be the perfect solution. Research suggests that one of the main factors to achieving results is accountability, by working with us remotely we will keep you accountable to your training objectives and fast track your results.

It is our strong belief that we provide the best service and value for money in the industry, just as we have with our personal training service, we have developed an affordable online service for those not able to train with us at our base in Hamble, Southampton, providing complete support network from a team that know what you want to  achieve.

How does it work?

Questionnaire

Upon sign up you will receive a comprehensive set of forms which will require you to detail information about your health, lifestyle and current exercise regime which is the first stage of us understanding your circumstances, training preferences and most importantly; your personal goals / training objectives.

App Download

Once your forms have been submitted you shall be sent instructions on how to download our app and create your member profile. The app will function as a hub for viewing all of your assessment information, training programs, nutrition guidelines and all relevant documents and resources required to assist you throughout the process.

Assessment

In addition to the comprehensive forms completed, you will be required to complete some pre-training physical assessments to help us understand your current physical ability and movement competency which are important aspects to your training program design. For those opting for our gold or platinum service, you will also complete the nutritional audit at this stage too. You will be required to provide a full week’s food and drink diary in order for us to accurately assess your dietary habits.

Training Program

Once all data has been reviewed from the application forms, physical assessments and any relevant e-mail correspondence, your progressive training program will be devised and delivered in monthly blocks. Training program duration varies, but as a standard we devise a 16 week periodised plan. Regular use of our exercise video database is encouraged to ensure you are performing the exercises correctly.

NUTRITION GUIDELINES

Following the nutrition audit, amendments to your dietary habits will be advised in order to support your training and put you on the correct path to achieve your goals and objectives. All guidelines are individually devised according to not only what has been assessed, but also your lifestyle. We deliver nutrition guidelines in the same manner as training, making progressive changes when the time is right which will increase compliance and enduringly healthy nutrition habits.

Re-assessment

In order to measure progress and assess the effectiveness of your training program and nutrition guidelines, we will require you to re-assess certain physical assessments during and after your program. Once the results from the re-assessment have been analysed, further changes to your training and nutrition may be implemented. We must affirm to all prospective clients, you don’t get results by focusing on results, you get results by focusing on the actions that produce the results, be consistent and disciplined and believe in the process!

All of our services offer unlimited e-mail support. It is imperative to your progress to stay in regular contact with us. Staying motivated, dedicated and focused is solely down to you, we are here for support, guidance and accountability.

“At this time last year, I decided I needed to get fit. I’m no good at the gym, as I need someone to spur me on and motivate me. I hadn’t done any cardiovascular exercise for a long time, so was a little apprehensive. I had a flyer through my door for Pinnacle Performance & Training’s “Boot Camp fitness”, so decided to give it a try. I turned up for the first session, a little bit nervous, but as soon as I met Andy, he put me at ease, along with the other people there.

I managed (to my surprise) to almost keep up with everyone on the exercises and games that Andy set us, and most importantly, I had fun. A couple of days after that first session which was on a Tuesday, I was really stiff  – even getting out of the chair was painful, but I persevered and went to the Thursday class. Each time I went, things got a little bit easier.

Andy is encouraging, patient, and not only tells you how to do the exercises properly, but tells you why you are doing them.

My favourite thing about Boot Camp is that each session is different to the next, so I don’t get bored. We skip, box, run, do circuits, squats, lunges, play games, do ab work, self massage with tennis balls, and end each session with a good stretch. In the summer months, we venture out on to the field and work out there. The classes are attended by men and women of all ages, and everyone is really friendly and encouraging.

A year on, and I can definitely say that I’m fitter (I really notice how I can recover quicker from being out of breath), more toned, and I can hold a plank for a minute without collapsing, and dare I say it, have even come to enjoy the slapping!”
